A finished new bird portrait! Happy and proud to show you this Blackbird! It’s the 18th portrait in my bird series. I received many requests for a blackbird while creating this series, and I was really looking forward to making one, but it cost me a lot of headaches along the way. There were 13 colour layers printed. It was by far the most difficult to create. It took me forever to make this particular reduction linoleum print. Many hiccups during the production process were due to the extreme cold recently. Nevertheless I am very happy with the result, although it’s a pity it has become a smaller limited edition print run then I aimed for.
